This is the sign on a truly good person. They may be shy, unattractive, or even come from an influential family and do not desire too much attention. But God knows of their goodness.

Most people with very beautiful souls are very shy and they are very sensitive and they feel lost in the cold hard world outside with all it's negativity. They absorb all the negativity that is everywhere around them and this makes them feel tired and miserable and for that reason they prefer to stay in their own safe place.

Good question, I think because ugly souls would attack them because of there shape size etc, forcing some beautiful people to become introvert. It's a sad product of a vain society obsessed with looks athletic capability etc

Because its an ugly world and fear of abuse is a valid reason. Most people are shallow and vain and beautiful souls are something they don't have time for, after all, what kind of stroking can they get from them? No gossip, pratter or silly useless information to distribute to their vain friends.

Because beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and some people just don't want others to see how they shine.
I hide mine because people take advantage of it.
Others hide it because they are selfish or scared of the world.
Some just wait until they get to McDonalds before they let it out.
And some smell funny.

because they fear that if they show their brillance of their soul to others, many tarnished ones may try to polish their own by rubbing up against theirs and thus reducing the beauty.
