He has been a celebrity tooooooo long! He lives a fantasy, and we have to watch it. Then, when reality attacks him, he pretends he knows what he is doing. If you ask me, I think he has gotten a little creepy since he found out Katie was pregnant.

What did Tom Cruise do? you don't say what he did in order to make a comment. So perhaps you rewrite the question and state what Tom Cruise did for anyone to rely.

I don't know that they hate him exactly, but many people certainly lost a lot of respect for him for attacking people publicly (notably, Brooke Shields), and for stating a lot of things that are contrary to common beliefs. He espouses the tenets of Scientology, and is very vocal about his beliefs, but doesn't leave it at that -- he publicly lambasts people who do not follow his lifestyle or hold the same system of beliefs he has. He verbally attacks anyone who seeks psychotherapy or uses mood-altering medications to treat depression or anxiety -- it's like a Jehovah's Witness trying to start a "Blood Transfusions Are Evil" campaign or something. His intolerance of others and his rather erratic public behavior is what has made him unpopular.

When he attacked Brooke Shields for taking anti-depressants. That was just crazy! It would be just like her coming out and saying that getting kicked in the testicles didn't really hurt, it was all just in a guys head. What does he know about child birth and hormones?

During his latest publicity bout prior to his "supposed" baby being born he acted like a complete ***. He also criticized Brooke Shields for using drugs to battle post pardom depression. He's an ***. He and Mel Gibson should get a room and film it.

He is trying to force his religion on people. He is also speaking poorly of others who do not share his views. (ie Brook Shields for taking anti-depressants while suffering post pardom (?sp?)depression). If he would not try to be "right" all the time and accept that others have diffrent views and beliefs than he does, I would not mind him as much.

Opened his mouth and was a jerk. I am not a big fan of Brook Shields, but to publicly attack her was uncalled for.
Just do a Google search for Tom and you'll see some of his stunts.

He let himself out too much. People liked him better when they didn't know anything about him, and now that they do, they dont like this "New Tom".

celebrities have more responsibility than the rest of us.
when you strive for celebrity you understand that you belong to everyone not only yourself and you must maintain yourself in an acceptable manner or be rejected by your public. Tom has been rejected.
