OMG.....OMG........YES........i am so scaryed of spiders.....yes i am Arachniphob........i am veryyyyyyyyyy very scaryed of spiders...........

I myself love spiders, and try to encourage others to enjoy, or at least leave spiders alone.
I understand that many people fear them. Although I do not share this fear, I try to empathize with their feelings. I myself get the shuddering heebie-jibblies when I see a ventriloquist's dummy. Especially the ones with the moving eyes. Those things give me the creeps. Clowns aren't much better. I too have irrational fears, and realize that others also have irrational fears, and the fear of spiders is one of the more common ones.
But I also hope that the people who have the fear of spiders realize that their fear is irrational. This is not to take aware from the very real trauma that the spider creates in those with arachnophobia, but the arachnophobes need to realize that the trauma comes from within them, and not actually from the spider itself. The spider is actually a harmless victim of your fears.
So please, even if you are deathly afraid of spiders, please don't indiscriminately kill spiders because of your fears. Spiders are extremely beneficial to mankind, and even the very rare species (in North America anyhow) that can be dangerous do not tend to be aggressive, and won't harm you unless you harm them first.
Just as it would be unjustifiable for me to go around killing clowns because they freak me out, please give the spiders the benefit of the doubt and put down the Raid can even if they do scare the beedoobers out of you.

Anywhere between 18 and 25 percent the population is arachnaphobic-diagnosible phobia, anyway: The kind that makes you lock up and unable to do anything rational, milder types of arachnaphobia are estimated at about 80 percent. Fortunately, I am not one of them. Anything that kills mosquitoes gets an OK in my book, though I'd rather they not crawl on me.

I'm a complete arachniphob!!! I'm deadly afraid of spiders. I see them, and my whole body just freezes up on me, like I'm paralyzed. Any where I go, I'm constantly on the look out for them.

I am! I can't stand, even the smallest ones. And the worst are the big plate-sized ones. Gross!
