I think the six inch tail shaft is from like an El Camino or one of the mid size chevys. When I put one into a full size chevy pick up I had to have a drive shaft built. The place that did mine charged me $214.00. The turbo 350 is popular you should be able to find a tranny with the full sized tail tail shaft. Thomas S.

Its possible. Chevy is known for having year and model interchangablity when it comes to their truck parts. Its not for sure though, and you probably sould ask a mechanic... I dont know if that carried into the 90s, but i know the older trucks had all the same parts over the years.

prolly so but you may have to do some modifcation.. you can do it though.. chevy is usually pretty universal within 88-98.. I know a 88-93 is the same and 94-98 is all pretty much the same.

It can be done with a little bit of modification but it will not be a direct "bolt-in" swap. Hopefully you have access to the donor vehicle so that you can salvage any additional brackets, mounts, wiring harnesses, etc. as the need arises.

You may have to have a different drive shaft made, but other than that, it should fit.
