I see a lot of people on here identifying themselves as cons and as republicans, but when asked, a good majority have no military experience. They have no clue what Bush's policies are really like. I asked this of Jon C and his response was that he was too important, too rich to serve. Well, that's what I got from his answer, because he never really answered any of my questions. And he's not the only one who's done that. A lot of them keep coming up with that answer. I'm too important or too rich or too whatever, to serve my country. Yet, they love to criticize those of us that have served as being too poor and out of options. And then they complain when thopse of us hthat have served call them on it.

Cons are such funny, impotent little people.

Actually, I've seen the article about us voting republican. And it's flawed. I've been in 10 years and have seen for more liberal view points than I have conservative. Those that are conservative are very rabid, foaming at the mouth, how do you question Der Fuhrer's spiel, kinds. Those of us that do speak out as liberals are harrassed for our view points. Even when we back up our arguments with facts. I've had things thrown at me and have had my profile put up on gay.com. I had to explain that to my command. And I'm not the only one.

I don't have any facts or figures. I'm just speaking from personal experience. A lot of th cons that flame me for not supporting the ill-advised war on Iraq, always talk about how America is great and that President Bush is the best thing since sliced bread, and that my arguments against the war are harming morale. But everyone I've talked to that has been there and has seen the bigger picture all agree with me. Iraq could have waited. Personally, I'm not against the invasion per se, just against the TIMING of the invasion.

Another reason I asked is because the ones who are so very rabid about not questioning Bush have no qualms about contacting me and telling me how much of a loser I am, but they refuse to answer any of my legit questions. I get the same rhetoric over and over again. Jon c attacked me and my mother and called us lazy because she's no longer able to work and because I joined the military. And he's not the first. yet when I go to respond, they don't have anyway to contact them and rebuttal them. Of course jon c took his down because he couldn't refute my facts, and could only attack my family, but for the most part, that seems to be the trend.

A lot of you are missing my point. I'm asking this because the same people that are supposedly big supporters of Bush and the military are at the same time thinking that they are better than those of us who have chosen to defend the Constitution. To them, it's "the poor person's responsibility to support my way of life because I'm far too important to do so." I know it's personal choice, and I accept that. But they belittle those of us who have been overseas and have seen what our foreign policy is really doing. They question are patriotism when we question the President's decisions. And to me that just isn't right.

They get a sense of power in seeing how many suckers they can get to be proud to die taking a rich kid's place. These gutless Bushwhackoffs talk the talk to make themselves feel strong, important, and part of something big, but as far as having to face the reality of their fantasy, they scurry away like the squeaking mice they really are.

Given the inhabitants of the country contrasted to the form of persons who populate the armed centers... i'd say that the veterans on indexed below are very small in numbers. I doubt that many of the persons who unquestionably ask that are even vets themselves. Its common to conceal in the back of a seen reveal unit and make own assaults or implications like that. And, with all comprehend, an armed provider history does not unquestionably straight away make all people an expert on center jap family and/or politics. lots of neo-cons did no longer serve (Dick Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz, Paul Bremer, Karl Rove... etc) so as that argument does not make sense.

I lean conservative, and I served for 9 years....you? Clinton never served and sent troops to more places than Bush...so what's your point? At least Bush attempted to serve his country instead of dodging the draft like Clinton. In reality the military has a proportional amount of poor kids that really don't have any other option, but I think it gives them a better option than going on welfare. Others like myself joined because we grew up wanting to.

Actually I am looking to go back in...and I have a pretty good job right now, so I guess this just blows your whole theory to bits.

Edit.....I looked at some of your questions...I don't think any would qualify as a legitimate question, and they are more of a illogical rant. Plus I didn't see any facts, but more of the same left wing rhetoric, and yet here you are complaining about the right wing rhetoric.

Why would that matter? It is a personal decision to go into the military and I don't believe your political view has anything to do with you joining. My brother, cousin and best friend are all in the military. Regardless of their political views, that is 3 people close to me I know in the military that have a good head on their shoulders, instead of having it stuck up their a**. Hint, hint.
