She wasn't a horrible friend, just a needy one. At the time I had my own issues to deal with & had enough drama. She seems sincere & I do miss having a best friend. Do you think she deserves another chance?

Yes. Take it slowly, so you can tell if she's still needy. That way, if she is, you can slowly keep the relationship at that level without "ditching" her again.

Relationships of any kind have there ups and downs.
If she didn't do anything too terrible then I would say give it another chance, however I would suggest that you make some bounderies so that the two of you know where the other one stands and no one gets walked over this time.
Also remember that friendship and any relationship has a little give and take from both sides. Every one has their problems maybe next time instead of getting rid of her completly you can just let her know that you are unable to help her at this time, because you need to handle situations in your own life.
good luck
remember to talk to oneanother.

Yes, why not. What have you got to lose? If you missed her and she seems to be sincere, give her another chance. You both probably had too much going on at the same time. Realize that situations like that can happen, discuss it and make plans on how to handle it in the future should you both have full plates at the same time, rather lose your friendship again.

I don't know why she apologized to you. You ditched her, she was at a place in life when all she had was you. Since she was your BEST friend I believe that you should apologize to her and make up. I am sure you was at some point when you was needy and no one ditched you. Have some empathy everything will be okay, good luck.

If she was a good friend and you miss her, I'd say yes but be sure that you're not just forgiving her because you want a best friend. Make sure to tell her gently not to be so needy this thime though

Forgiving her is the right thing to do. If you're interested in being her friend again, take things slow. Jumping right back into things could make it easier to her to go back to her old needy ways.

Yes. It seems like she was too busy with herself to think about you. But if its been a while and she seems sincere then give her another go. She may have come round to realising she was wrong.
