Theseus was an Athenian hero who was willing to die for his homeland, so he arranged to be chosen among the fourteen young men and women who would be sent to Crete to be devoured by the Minotaur. However, even though he was sent as a sacrificial lamb, with his wit and bravery, he slaughtered the Minotaur and put an end to the awful annual blood debt that Athens had been subjected to by King Minoas.

When he became King of Athens he was responsible of many beneficial reforms for his people.

So we have bravery, wit, political vision, selfessness. Yes, I guess he'd make a good president.

Still, there is a little question on how he made Minoa's daughter Ariadne betray her father and give Theseus the magic sword with which he killed the Minotaur and the ball of thread which he used to find his way out of the Labyrinth. Perhaps he was charming as well...hmm...there could be potential scandals during his presidency.

He seduced Minos daughter Ariadne to get help killing the Minotaur, then abandoned her pregnant and broke on an island he passed on his way home. He also murdered his own son for a crime that hadn't been committed. Could we try Lludd of the Silver Hand from Britain?

Even Minotaur would be an improvement over the present US president.

Great, and I'd request one more very big labour: With his great strength, take his fathers arms to move all the polution to the Bush ranch in Crawford, Texas. If it's sitting in their back yard, maybe they'll take polution seriously.
