OK- Just to clarify. It seems to me you are living with your boyfriend and his mom. She got a restraining order against your mother so you can't see her nor your 6 year old brother until after Christmas. You don't believe she had a reason to get the restraining order. Your b/f mom doesn't have custody of you yet but is going to court to get it. You are afraid that your b/f's mom will get upset if you go and visit your brother so you are scared to go. However your b/f said you guys should just take off and see your brother around Thanksgiving because you miss him. You don't wan to be the cause of problems so your asking us if you should just go and see your brother. Am I right?

If so, it sounds like a real complicated mess. I am not sure why you are not living with your mother or why your bf's mom got the restraining order against your mother. Is there someone else's house that you could visit your brother at beside mom's. Like maybe an aunt, grandma, family friend? This way you can still see your brother but not by undermining the woman who is taking care of you. Maybe you could send your little brother a small present or card just to let him know you are still thinking of him and love him. You are really in a tough spot but right now you are dependant on your bf's mother. Tell her how much you miss your brother and see if it would be ok to take an alternate method of seeing him like arrangements made through a relative or something. It is probably not a good idea to upset this woman who is taking care of you right now.

Your message was hard to understand. But I think I got it. As long as you are not being restrained then you are fine. If you thing the living situation is bad there then you should call social services. Do not bring your BF there cause you will get him in trouble. Try to call him and tell him you miss him. At 6 they cant understand why you would leave.

~you should just wait for awhile & let things clear up a little. you don't want to wind up in jeuvy for something like this. time will heal all wounds. take care & good luck with whatever you decide.~
