i need a part time job, not necessarily just for the summer. minimum wage is fine, not looking for anything particularly high paying, or for any one job in particular, just need some options.

Baby sitting, paper route, selling roses at freeway entrances, selling your body on Melrose or Sunset, Santa Monica or Sepulveda, depending on where you live and what your sex is.
Sorry, that is reality. You must be 16 to get a "work permit" from the schools. I didn't make up that rule.

it's hard for any 13-14 year old to get a job.... just go around and ask some shops, something like that. you might just have to wait until you're 15 or so to get a job because most people won't hire. you can always babysit i guess...

You can't get any official jobs yet, but you can always ask your relatives, friends, parents and family if they need any help around the house.
