It's an NSAID = non-steroidal anti inflammatory drug. It's the same classification as "advil" motrin" (both of these are brand names for the generic ibuprofen. Uses range from menstrual cramps to headaches to arthritis pain. Take with food or milk and be certain that your doctor has no objections, if you're on any other meds or have pre-exisisting conditions, or kidney problems. ***If you have ANY drug allergy = consult a pharmacist, first. i think it is aleve. for headaches... they work well for headaches to.
