What are the names of the suburbs of Charlotte, NC? And which one is the safest to live?

I am planning of eventually moving to the Charlotte, NC area and would like to know which of the suburbs in taht area rea safest to live. MAKE SURE IT'S ONE OF cHARLOTTE'S SUBURBS AND NOT A SMALL TOWN!!!!!!!

I don't know if this is good enough but I know of a great site to check out.

Go to www.city-data.com

You can type in any major city (or small city for that matter) and if you scroll down the page it will tell you LOADS of info: median income, breakdown of race, percentage of population that is educated, median home value, things to do, crime statistics, etc....it goes on and on. You can also compare towns (you can input a town anywhere in the country that you know is safe and compare it to one of the towns you find on city-data).

The site also shows nearby cities and suburbs and where they're located in relation to the city you've entered (ex. city X is located 5 miles SW of city A).

Maybe after you narrow it down to a few places you can check to see if the city/town has a web page. That would also give you more info.
