This is a whole number because it isn't negative or a fraction. All numbers above 0 are whole numbers. "Pi" for example, is not a whole number. Nor is -37,295. This is all you need to determine whether a number is a whole number.

Yes Sunshine, it's a whole number.

This number can also be represented as 37,295.00

The fact that there is no number to the right of the decimal point makes this a whole number.

Think of it in terms of money. If you had to give someone $37,295 you would be able to pay them in whole dollars. You wouldn't need any coins.

Yes, it is an odd number, but a whole number, because it doesn't have a fractional part attached to it. For example, 37,295.7733.

a whole number is a number that is not part of a number (a fraction) so yes, ANY number that does not have a decimal point in it (and is positive) is a whole number.

Yes. A whole number is one that does not have a decimal point in it and numbers to the right of that decimal oint.

Yes, it's a whole number. A whole number is any number that doesn't have a fraction or decimal.
So, 346 is a whole number while 346.5484 is not.

If I'm remembering my high school math properly... I think it is a whole number because it doesn't have a decimal point.

If it is not a fraction, decimal or otherwise it is a whole number.

By the way, negative numbers ARE whole numbers.
