Does anyone have any thoughts on how the upcoming season is going to go for Green Bay?

They have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL this season, they should do alright in the regular season, but unless they can hustle up for the playoffs, they're gone in the wild card game. I'd love to see Favre go out on top, but that team looked very shakey in the preseason opener, even with starters in. Favre kept getting hit, hurried, and sacked...O-Line needs help.

If the defense can help opposing offenses like it did last year points-wise, they'll have a chance, they didn't lose many games by more than a touchdown...even Cincinati only won by 7? They had 5 turnovers and only scored off of one of them, that says something for Green Bay's defense. Adding Manuel, Woodson, and Hawk was huge for them, they just need to get the offenive line solidified and keep Favre's targets healthy and it wont be another crap hole of a season, but it wont be a super bowl winning one either.

Good luck

(BTW sportsguy, Green fumbles the ball way too much, and the way Gado came in out of nowhere and did what he did under the circumstances, there's no limit as to what that guy is going to be capable of, but as I hear Green is still the starter..but he wont take every handoff.)

I think that you'll see a much-improved Packers team. They'll definitely be better than last year because they're healthy which is huge. The additions of Charles Woodson and A.J. Hawk on defense didnt hurt either. Look for the Pack to go like 7-9 or something. 2nd NFC North.

It's going to be a very long season in Green Bay. I think they'll win about 5 - 7 games.

as a packers fan from since it seems the beggining of time, i belive that they will have a better season than last year. they will need to fill the holes on the offensive line for sure this year but with a very talented defense coming back, newly acquired AJ Hawk (im also a huge Buckeye Fan) and our rookie wideout that was makin headlines in the paper i look for the pack to go 10-6 this year

The packers are going to be at the bottom of the division. Brett Farve is old. The team needs to move in a new direction and Brett Farve needs to let go. The Packers will be lucky to win 5 games this year..... By the way GO BEARS

after watching their 1st preseason game, if they dont block for favre and make some holes for who ever plays runningback this season, you could see another 4-12 or worse this year. i am a big packer fan and would love to see favre go out on top but its not going to happen.

they will surprise some people, but i'd still rather see favre go out with an amazing team that could hunt for the title.

It's going to be great if they remain healthy. If not, I'm going to be watching while peaking thru a blanket. Ha Ha
