Not only are there alot of lazy managers but also incompetent ones too. Sometimes when you find lazy managers you also tend to find out that they got the position through sheer luck. I also have discovered that most of the employees they manage know more than they do. If the manager does his job to the best of his ability, and is able to help the worker then he deserves the job. If the manager is lazy, and tends to only take the credit for a job well done then he's an idiot.

Yes! i am a assistant manager and my branch manager is very lazy, love him to death but lazy.. He told me and i know this for a fact, that he was a assistant for 2 years worked his butt off. Now he would like to see me get my own branch. so yes there is some truth with that.

Sure. But I'd say there are less percentage-wise than workers that are lazy. Few workers that are lazy ever become managers.

Yes there is plenty. My manager for excample is, getting paid the big bucks & he does nothing really & i get to do all the work. But sit it out , they wont get away with it forever.
