Pharmacists are highly trained, professionally educated professional medical service providers. They are knowledgeable about the origins, uses, desired effects and adverse effects of prescription and over the counter drugs. They know which drugs unteract with others, and HOW.They are a remarkable resource, closer at hand, more accessible - and OFTEN - more readily knowledgeable of NEWLY RELEASED / FDA APPROVED drugs, than are doctors.
