I think that hezbollah will break the ceasefire in the next few days. Too much un-finished business for both sides.

Do you think that the peace will last?

Truthfully, I think it will end very soon. Either Hezbollah will rearm and attack again, or they will refuse to give up the two soldiers whose kidnapping started this mess in the first place. In which case Israel will go in again to get them back. When I heard that the "treaty" set forward by the UN didn't absolutely require Hezbollah to give up the soldiers, I was completely amazed that anyone in the UN thought this could work. It doesn't have much of a chance anyway (because of that unfinished business you mentioned), but not forcing Hezbollah to give up the soldiers pretty much ended any chance at all of it working.

Unfortunately not. Hezbollah are not going to give up their arms and the Lebanese army certainly wont disarm them. Only pressure on Syria and Iran from the wider world will have any effect in solving this problem.

No, it will not last long. I give it a week or 2.

They just need to go at until someone wins, why the UN butted in was beyond me.

And yes, I feel bad for the Lebanese people.

As long as it takes Hezbollah to regroup and reload. That has been the pattern.

The ceasefire will never be in place because the "multinational force" will be ball-less
