That is seriously the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Animals don't even know what they are they doing. They hump garden hoses, for crying out loud!

Totally agree on the fact that they have sex with the same gender. I just dont think it makes them gay. It makes them animals that don't know what they are doing.

Because scientists have proven they are through research. And i'm talking about wild animals not confused or frustrated domesticated ones or pets. You may think its stupid but its a fact. It is also a fact that you are ignorant and arrogant and simple minded in your arguments. Hundreds of species have been found to be gay so far. So get over it. Its natural because it occurs in animals as well as humans.
Your the one that has the problem with homosexuality and im twisted? I said it was NATURAL not that it was NORMAL cant you read! Natural means it occurs in nature which it does. Normal means a majority engage in it which they dont. Just because something is unnatural doesnt mean its wrong. The Internet is unnatural for example because it is man made. And just because something is not normal doesnt mean it is wrong either. A minority of people are left handed for example. Now dont people who are against homosexuality say if anyone engages in gay sex they are gay? To them it is only a behaviour so its a bit rich saying animals that do the same aren't. Don't confuse natural and normal they are two seperate things.

There is scientifically documented evidence of gay animals. Animals act without the burden of human prejudice, they are what they are, it's that simple. If an animal reaches its sexual maturity and only pursues and "mates" with the same sex do you think they made a choice? If they were just dumb confused creatures who would hump a garden hose or anything else, why is it then that other animals within their habitat do not attempt to mate with them? Do some research on this, I think you will find it isn't as simple as you think it is.

Because it's been proven. Although I'm sure they don't go around beating the crap out of each other for it, spouting hatred, or quoting the bible. Unless of course, it's courting season and there's some jealously to go around. Come on, I just posted this elsewhere. Go Google "Gay Animals" there's tons of stuff out there about animals choosing same sex life partners. Not just horny, humping dogs - But animals in zoos that their keepers have tried to entice with the oposite sex - below see Roy and Silo, two male Chinstrap penguins that had a six year exclusive relationship.

So animals don't love? Swans, wolves, etc. mate for life and pine away if permanently separated. Dogs sure seems to love their owners. And animals definitely have hate. Elephants hate their abusers and get back at them if possible, but they love their mates and their children. What about those animals that have interspecies love? Is that wrong too? Plenty of animal shows and womens magazines tell stories and show films about say, a duck and a cat loving eachother. Not sex, that's a diff show.
I have seen with my own eyes a gay animal. Effeminate and everything. Don't say it isn't real. I won't believe you.
But who cares? People are gay, we don't choose it, we can't be "corrected". Just accept us as the people we are. Stop being so angry that we aren't exactly like you. You remind me of those awful kids in Junior High that beat up the nerdy kids for being different.

Because the amazingly vast and overwhelmingly complete body of evidence on the subject, which your miserable attempts at sarcasm does nothing to refute by the way, indicates that animals have the same variations in their sexual function as humans.
I hate to break it to you sweetheart, but no one is particularly amused - this is a lousy attempt at a troll. No one is particularly offended. You just make yourself look uneducated and dumb, and like the kind of person who will cling to her pathetic little arbitrary beliefs no matter what the evidence to the contrary.
Bad trolls really tick me off. Go over to the religion section and see some of the fine work being done there, or to the politics section - some of the Bushbot baiters are very witty. But this was just lame. You give trolls a bad name.

There have been enormous studies on animal homosexuality. The answers really aren't open to question. Hundreds of species have been studied. Some have only incidental homosexuality -- but others have exclusive homosexuality and many species that have pair bonding have homosexual pair bonding as well -- to the exclusion of heterosexual contact, even in heat.
One of the best published studies in the field is by Dr. Bruce Bagemihl -- its title is "Biological Exuberance" and its from St. Martin's Press. May I suggest before disregarding decades of research because you find it distasteful -- you actually read it.
Thank you and have a good day.

There are animals that choose life mates and stay next to them, and have children with them for the rest of their lives. Just because they can't speak like us and can't go through the same ceremonies as us doesn't mean they don't understand what they are doing. And there is proof that in rare cases, animals choose to become life partners with an animal of the same sex. Which makes them gay. And just like humans, there is nothign wrong with them being gay.

Animals are instictual and some of them may have gay instincts. I havent ever asked one why they only try to have sex with the same sex so I am not sure if they realize or not if they are gay.

Animals know what they are doing. If a male dog humps another male, it's showing it's dominican. It's been observed that sea gulls can be lesbian. Animals aren't stupid. They know what sex the other one is.

Actually animals are smarter then you think. Animals don't think about things. Like humans do, they react by their senses. I wish humans were more like animals, instead we have developed this sense of emotions, and setting ourselves up to be hurt and to suffer. We are use our brain more then animals, but its not beneficial, becauses we react on our emotions unlike animals they react on instinct. How will we know? Ever... If animals can be gay? Dr Dolittle? and who are you to say they can't?
