--for those who don't know--like me three weeks ago, *lol*, no, he's not dead, just old as the hills.
--let's not dwell on details of political party or running mates for now....just answer the question, are you *in principle* for or against the guy declaring his intent to Run for President? Do you think he'd be good for the Nation?
--what would it take to convince him to run for office and TRY to make life better, short of hooking one arm up to a Prozac drip and another to a Caffiene drip?
--FYI, to my best knowledge, the man is a *bit* left-leaning, but is more anti-stupidity than anything. He likely doesn't care for Democrats either, as they are today. He is a veteran, an ex-POW who survived the Allied bombing of Dresden in World War II....and he is a bit of a Luddite (anti-tech) because of the pollution and wreckage it has caused on such a huge scale.

Kurt Vonnegut is a genius as he intertwines all of his books into one seemingly endless universe. Slaughterhouse-5 and Cat's Cradle are my favorites. I'd vote for him!
