It would be terribly egocentric to think that we were the only form of intelligence. Given the radically happenstance process of evolution, sentient life elsewhere probably looks nothing like us. Interaction in a Spielberg kind of way would be foolishly optimistic, but that's not to say that it itsn't there.

50 50 Chance my friend. The distance between us and other form of life elsewhere in the universe is massive, knowing that all our neighboring planets can not support similar life like as on earth.

To support "life" .. You need 3 things
1. Energy 2. Water 3. Genetic material (similar to DNA)

We have been airing radio waves since the radio & TV were invented. We are working on recieving signals that could obtain some form of respond from elsewhere.

I believe in our life time on earth as humans. We won't be able to answer this question. Distance is a main obsticle.

Chances are yes. Consider that every year scientists find a life form in the most unlikely places on earth - in boiling water, in the deepest permafrost. And consider that most of the building blocks of life were found in that comet dust NASA recently captured. Then consider the role of intelligence in natural selection and imagine how much there might be to select from in the universe.

Is there intelligent life on Y!A? After seeing some of the spelling, grammar and general ignorance, I doubt it.

About your question. I've got an open mind on that subject.

We can never PROVE that there isn't. We only have to find one intelligent non-Terran life to prove that there is.

I believe there is. Not intellegent, human like though.

I find it hard to believe with all the galaxies and all the stars out there that there isn't at least one planet with some form of fungus, mold, or bacteria on it.
