I feel weird spending the money he earns on his bday present; it's like he is buying his own gift. What else could I do?

Come on guys, why say such basic things as "get a job," or "have sex." Do you think we don't have sex every other day of the year?? Also, having one car and being in a new town, my husband and I made the decision for me to stay at home. Stanyazfan was correct, I am a Marine Wife.

i see that your living in the stumps.. so that would mean that your husband is in the Marines. being a former Marine myself i can put myself in his place. a good present is simple. just cook him his favorite dinner. don't worry about using "his" money. it's yours too. just pay extra special attention to him that day. the hardest job in the Marines is being a Marine Corp wife. he will appreciate anything you give him from your heart. it can be a homemade card just letting him know your proud to be his wife and that you love him.. i know it sounds kind of corny but it works.

Make him a nice meal, 3 or 4 items make sure it is cooked the way he likes it. Eat with him and smile look at him and show him all your love, talk about important things he is doing or done. Make him feel good as a man, and finally if you want to be a lady and be with him.

Between the food the mental lift of making him feel important and the well being a woman and making him feel like a man should do it. Also buy him something small but nice.

I am not a bad guy if you get to know me.

Also if he likes camping or the outdoors there are a slew of things to do.

Ok. So what if he makes the money? You can do things that don't require a lot of money, something that requires more thought than anything else. How about the usual candlelit dinner and bath? How about a candlelit massage? Here are two sites that can give you ideas as well:

Send him on a scavenger hunt, or romance him from when he enters the door, until you two get ready for bed. Actually, it doesn't have to end there. Get my drift?

You are married. It isn't HIS money, it it both of your money. However, if you truly don't want to spend for a present, then make him a cake and a nice meal. give him a massage, just pamper him for the day, make the entire day all about him.

My gf gave me a coupon book of sexual favors that I can redeem at anytime. It had blowjobs in the car, in a parking lot, in the shower. Intercourse coupons for different rooms and outside....That was the best gift she has ever given me. Your man will appreciate it too! It shows you love him, desire him and it'll make him horny!

Surpise him with a special dinner and make him a card. It's the thought that counts.

Make this a special day by expressing you know what his favorite things are....favorite breakfast, watch his favorite movie, play his favorite game....fix his favorite dinner....and allow him to appreciate his favorite wife...you!

I would do something cheap but thoughtful... for my husband, I got him engraved dog tags, (army wife) that had our "marriage quote" on it, and our anniversary date. it was only 30 dollars, and he always has them with him
