Is IS is and if IS is was IS always IS if IS wasn't
always IS what was IS.
From my theory of "the is". Obviously an anagram there.

IS is IS, WAS was WAS, IS wasn't WAS and WAS isn't IS. If ever IS was WAS then WAS could be IS. But WAS could never be IS so IS is IS and will always be IS!!

In answer to your question, IS is not always IS, in the west country IS can be replaced with BE, I.E. What be your problem?

In Shakespeare IT IS was replaced with TIS, thecnically it's own word however IS does appear "IS this a dagger I see before me?"
