yes its 1st class,all the presenters are good,hamster and james may but without clarkson it just wouldnt be top gear would it,big up to top gear worth the tv license money alone.lol.

Top Gear is only good as an entertaiment show, not for facts.
James May is funny in a dry way.
Richard Hammond has his moments... but....
Jeremy Clarkson couldnt point to a car, let alone tell you what a good one is.
...and the Stig.... He cant even get a Smart around a corner!!!!! Although he can suddenly stop understeer in a car so that it doesnt crash ( Vectra VXR "power lap").

I think it's the combination of all three presenters (and the Stig) that makes the show work.
My favourite is Jeremy Clarkson. He takes no prisoners, says what he thinks, and doesn't mind upsetting the car companies. He was actually banned from test driving Renaults for a year after he upset them. I remember him reviewing a car I had on order (Megan Coupe) and slated it, wearing a sponge on his head. The number of people who saw it and commented was amazing.
I think because he is a family man, quite a lot of people relate to him.

Hammond has to be the best presenter but they all make the show great and funny.(Remember the caravan tour episode...that has to be a classic, when Clarkson set fire to the caravan).
What a great job they've got though....i mean , getting payed to prat around with loads of cars and getting away with setting fire to car washes with dodgy soft top people carriers.
I was ready to apply for Hammonds job when he rolled that 'sooty' mobile on the test track....but the ba&!erd survived...Maybe next time.
What a cushy job.

Top Gear is great entertainment, if taken with a large pinch of salt. Clarkson is great, even though he is about 40 yrs too old to be a boy racer still.
