I wouldn't tell him until you have found an alternative job and think you have a good chance of getting it ....no need to cross the bridge until you come to it.

If u boss is a nice guy and if u are also a loyal and soft girl, u can say
" Boss,I think I am not 100 % satisfied with this job,Something is bothering me,,(if u want u can tell the exact reason.) I feel if there is a change in my job /work place I may feel comfortable.Actually I thought about it so many times..at last I have decided to switch to a new job, where i may find some change which i wanted.

Hi, when i wanted to leave my job because i didnt like it i just wrote a letter explaining why, and never went back, thats how you get out of not speaking to the managers. The only other way is just to take a deep breath and just tell him, you have found a job with better prospects and pay and you want to leave. If he trys to give you a wage rise or gets you to stay, then just say you have made your decision and you would like to leave.

You have to tell him/her that you have found a new job that suits your needs and that it is something you have to do for your own well being, a good boss would want the best for you what ever you decide. Good luck in your new job.

yeah it's much harder when they're nice. I just quit today but as the company was crap all round I just phoned to say send me my p45 I'm not coming back. They were gobsmacked for once.
Just tell him that you're moving on and thank him for letting you have the opportunity to learn a few things and wish him all the best. There's no way out of it and you dont want to do what I did if he's nice.

Just be honest and tell him that you've found a job with better wages or circumstances. If he is really nice and understanding he will understand. Did the last on my last job (and I wasn't lying)
His reaction was that he would be the last one to stop me if I found a better job and to wish me good luck!!!

Honesty is the best policy, say something like " thank you for giving me this opportunity but i am really not happy and to be fair to you i think it is better to leave before the situation gets any worse" it shows that you are not unappreciative but fair and honest, good luck in your new job

I know! Have you seen the film 'Catwoman'?
Well she goes out of her job with a good ending LMAO!
She said something like this when the boss shouted at her:
I'm sorry for every second I wasted working for an UNtalented, UNethical, egomaniac like you!
LMAO that was hilarious!

Before I read your additional details I had thought of suggesting that you take a dump on his desk, I find it always gets attention, But if you like him tell him the truth "I have found a better job" if he is really nice he will say "Bon Chance mon amiee" (excuse my french)

Just explain why
- struggling financially? new job pays more/ more hours
- closer to home, you are findoing the distance too much to travel
-better for your health- cleaning products etc irritating lungs/ skin?
- lie and say you are eaving the area
- new job has promotion opportunities or is essential to your future plans
Good luck, hope it works out
if all else fails just leave and write them a letter :O)

request a little time with your boss to have a quite chat. Now, the first thing you say is 'i have enjoyed working here, but i think the time has come for me to move onto future challenges. this is nothing personal. i have enjoyed my time here, but after working for a couple of months, I have relised that my goals do not match with this companies goals. he is my written letter of resignation.' (pass letter to boss) if you really like your boss, ask to see him outside of the work environment.
