Let your armpit hair grow back for about a week and then go and buy some Veet. It is a shaveless hair remover. It works really good, you should try it out.

Use a moisturizing deoderant - like Secret with Oil of Olay, Dove, etc. The point is that it will keep your skin softer in the long run and easier to shave. Always shower with warm water and shave your pits at the end long after you've used a moisturizing body wash. I don't use shaving cream, but you can use a little more body wash if you think the foam helps (doesn't). Shave from top to bottom, then bottom to top and try getting in at angles. Use a good razor too and you'll be fine.

Are you using shaving cream? I'd suggest using a new razor (not dull) and remember to shave in all directions. The hair in your armpit grows in all directions. Another thing you can do is use your other hand to move the skin of your armpit to get around those bumps. That usually helps. I know some people also use Nair on their armpits - but if you have sensitive skin, it might irritate you. If you want long term help, you could get the hair removed permanently via lazers.

When you get in the shower, clean your body and armpits first so that they hair is plumped up a bit before shaving. Then lather up and shave as usual. Don't worry about seeing little spots of hairs. If you are that concerned, you should have them waxed. You don't say what kind of bumps, under the skin bumps or irritation bumps? (Sometimes people get tender spots or bumps before their cycle - if it is that, take some evening primrose oil.)

I know what you mean. Don't use veet or nare it really doesn't work that well and can be irritating to the skin. Use more shaving cream and start rubbing in lotion in your armpits after you shower, after all your armpits need moisturizing too, why is it that people don't moisturize there. Anyways... I did this and my bumps where gone in 2 weeks. Good luck.

use NAIR hair removal . no need to shave.
some good electrolysis products will do. This will remove the hairs easily with out disturbing
the bumps. Use hydrocortisone on the bumps. Use powder so the hairs will be visible so you can pluck it away.

hello girl,
could those bumps be caused by ingrown hairs?...is that your case? One thing that can help is exfoliate your pits regularly and hydrate them every day with exfoliating cream. that should help the bumps dissapear (i have that problem and that helps me loads). Also, don't shave dry as it aggresses ur skin and cld cause bumps and dryness.Hope this can help ; )

More shaving cream and a better razor. Those cheap throw-aways suck. They irritate your skin and cause those bumps you are talking about.
