Why does the white to black ratio not match the white to black crime ration?

Surely if whites and blacks are the same it should be even but its not.

Obviously they are not the same. The crime statistics proove that! Don't fall for the politically correct propoganda from the liberals! Liberals like to make excuses for black criminals by saying they are like the way they are because of poverty but it's a lie. There are just as many blacks that are wealthy that are criminals as there are poor ones that are criminals! Liberals couldn't care less about America or the damage that so called "multiculturism" is causing.

I believe that blacks and whites brought up in the same environements would have the same crime ratio. If there are more crimes committed by blacks, it could simply mean that unfortunately they are raised in neighborhoods where crime is more prevalent. It is also possible that there is racism against blacks within law enforcement, as there are probably more white cops than black ones. I am very lucky to be living in a place where race is very very rarely an issue. Have you considered looking up those same statistics in Canada?

Because more crime happens in underprivileged areas. AKA... the ghettos. Where people feel like they don't have any other option than to do what they have to do to survive. Those are usually the areas that are highly populated by black people. Furthermore, a black person and a white person can do the same exact crime at the same exact time... who would get arrested first??? Of course the black person... so they can throw them in jail or prison... also known as legalized slavery.

I think part of it is because of how the blacks were raised. I mean lots of them came from uneducated slaves. Then we put all the blacks in housing away from all us whites. Never made the men pay childsupport. Now the women have to work two jobs and never be home to raise the kids. They were never around whites to see how to properly teach their children, take care of property or have proper social skills. So the kids run wild join gangs and commit crime. Now the white cops go after arresting the blacks more and not the whites. We kept seperate from each other, they learned their own ways and now we are sorry. They never started out with the same opportunities as we did, back then. We are the same, humans, but our cultures are very different!

first of all, u didn't even ask a proper question, and let me tell u if u think there aren't more whites in jail, u are mistaken--- they just do not report it to the media.

if america is full of mostly whites, blacks only make up 12-14 % of the nation, then how can it be that more blacks commit crimes? there aren't enough here to even do that!

also don't forget people of color can be people that are white complexioned but if there is even a little bit of asian or black or latino in their background, then they are considered non-white even if they look white--- so if a blond -haired, blue eyed person commits a crime, but he is mixed heritage or bi-racial or whatever stupid label they call it these days, that person gets reported as black, no matter what the background, because white people act as though if u are blond haired and blue eyed but u have a drop of anything but caucasian in you, then u can't be considered white ---which is totally stupid because BLACK and WHITE are just colors, that's all, so that's how whites and blacks are the same, because we are all HUMAN, not black or white.

There's a lot more too it than the fact that we now say we're "the same". Hundreds of years of oppression of various kinds (even now, in the school district I teach in, the predominantly black schools receive less money than the predominantly white ones---so much for segregation ending) are hard to erase by saying, "we're all equal now!" It takes time and a lot of effort by people to really equalize things. A good urban sociology book can outline the many reasons there might be more black crime.

Blacks have been given an easy answer to all their problems in the race card. If they are poor, drug users/dealers, or in gangs, it's all someone elses fault because everyone but them is racist. To be fair I've met some that started out poor but worked their butts off to get in school and get a good education, but this takes a completely different mindset. And those blacks will be the "first" to admit that race is not the main issue, it's laziness. You have to accept responsibility, and that is difficult when those who would tell you the truth of why your poor are too afraid to because of being called racist.

So instead of people telling them to get a job they are pitied because of the life style they were "forced" to get into. How sad...
That is for the most part what makes the ratio between white and black crimes so off compared to what it should be.

There's a ration for crime? I haven't been committing many--am I missing my share? Are there crime ration coupons, like in WWII?

Read Fist, Stick, Knife, Gun by Geoffrey Canada. Also, The Power Broker (the first book should suffice.) It's poverty, but it's sooooo much more. Too much for me to explain here.

More black people are arrested for drug possession than whites, although whites are more likely to use drugs than Blacks.

When you look for something negative you will find negative things. I think the police sometimes look more diligently in the poorer neighborhoods for crime than in the white neighborhoods.

Since blacks arrived through slavery and hence poverty, they
will have a higher rate of "street crime" for want of a better term
But since there are more wealthy whites, then they have a higher
level of white coller crime.
