Well put. Every country that qualified deserves an amount of respect for simply getting to the WC. Qualification is not easy to get through sometimes. Although some do have tougher qualifying rounds than others, that's something only FIFA have the power to change. All 32 nations that qualify for any WC are the 32 for that tournament that make us laugh, cry, scream, etc, so yes I am with you on this point of view. Still doesn't mean I don't have my favourites though..lol

Well, I can't say so.I'm originally an Indian but I now live and study in the middle east.I have no hopes for Indian football. So I 'm not proud of the Indian team.

But I have always loved and supported the French team and I even visited France this July.So I'm proud of the French team and i will always support France whatever happens.Les Bleus,U ROCK!

yes, of course, seeing that each of the 32 had to hurdle some tough qualifiers they all deserved to be in the WC. but in football, you just have to play favorites otherwise it's no fun at all, lol.

my fave team, brazil, played poorly but there were lessons to be learned and i think they're building on that so that makes me proud. i'm also proud of ghana and the other african teams...great turn esp. for ghana....just hoping they'll have a stronger finish in 2010.....but i think i'm proudest of france and germany - not many expected them to be in the final 4 but they played great and proved with every game they're right up there with the best...same with italy and portugal, though i'm no fan. italy had trouble back home but that only fuelled the team to win and it did, big time. as for portugal, well i still don't like cronaldo but scolari has transformed this team into a powerhouse and i've got a healthy respect for that.

Yeah I'm proud of my country(Trinidad and Tobago) but I didn't expect much from them so they didn't disappoint. However I'm very disappointed in England especially after all the hype surrounding their team of stars.I'm also disappinted in Brazil, they're supposed to be the best but showed little talent in the world cup!

no. not italy, no offense i see your screen name but i have seen them cheat in their leagues and internationally too many times to every be PROUD of them.

but i'm especially proud of GHANA. I'm not from Ghana but they were the underdogs and they went out and KILLED it. They were one of the best teams there even though they didn't make it all the way.

and of course TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO for making it there, i knew they weren't going to get out of group play but they didn't do that badly at all! They qualified! TRINI ALL THE DAMN WAY!

everybody else did well also.

Brasil is my number one team but I'm not especially proud of their preformance in this world cup.
