Need to install a telephone jack on a middle wall.

It really is very easy. Just connect the green, red, yellow and black wires to the appropriate screw terminals of the same color and attach it to the wall. There are different types of wall mounts, but it's basically the same. Really easy. Just jump into it. You'll figure it out.

in case you have a line jack unit you need to connect 3 wires the blue white is going to positioned 2 the white blue is going to positioned 5 and the orange white is going to positioned 3 then you definately run the indoors cord back to the key socket which ought to have a front plate which comes off. you cord it a similar way at this socket you may %. up inner cord and line jack gadgets at any diy save. the blues are for voice and the orange is for the telephone to ring (bt engineer)
