The first thing out of my mouth would be..."Oh Wow".
I'd be flattered, then a bit awkward, but in the end I'd have to lay it on the table and just tell them " I like you too but not in the same way". It wouldn't put me off. I'd still be myself and if it got to be such a big deal to them I'd be backing away from the relationship.
