honestly you should nab peyton #4 he will have a historic year, but if you really want a running back 1st i do recomend portis. If you get a chance though take chris brown of the tennesee titans as your #2 back. The titans are focused and determined to get 40 carries a games so that can give some numbers. I have never lost a fantasy football season I have done a lot of research for this year

If the first 3 picks are LJ,SA,LT then I would say take Tiki Barber. Who knows what's going to happen with Portis' shoulder.
If some fool takes PM in the top 3 then you need to take one of those top 3 rb's.

I would say either Tiki Barber or STeven Jackson, but I"m definitely leaning more towards Tiki Barber. A week ago I would have said Clinton Portis, but oh how quickly things change.
4. Tiki Barber
5. Steven Jackson
6. Rudi Johnson
7. Clinton Portis
8. Ronnie Brown
9. Edgerrin James
10. Lamont Jordan

I say, now with Portis injured, Tiki Barber should be the clear cut choice at #4. Here are my top 4:
1. Alexander
2. Johnson
3. Tomlinson
4. Barber
Maybe you will get lucky and one of the Top 3 will fall to you. Good luck!

Take Tiki or Peyton. Your RBs and QBs are going to get you the most points so you definitely want to get the best one available. I was the fourth in my live draft and managed to get Tiki and Carson Palmer (2nd rated fantasy QB). I'd strongly advise going with Tiki. Most people seem to have forgotten his records for the last two years not to mention and much improved offensive line.
PS: Portis just got hurt and where as its not that big of an injury he isn't going to go in anyone's first round right now. Don't waste the pick on him.

Take whoever is left of LJ, LT, Shaun Alexander, and Tiki Barber. I wouldn't risk it with Clinton Portis. Tiki Barber did not lose any kep players to his offense and should be prime to repear his numbers from last year. He was an MVP candidate last year and is the heartbeat of that offense. 4th is a great place to be and you should be primed to get another quality RB in round two. I'd keep my eye on Brian Westbrook.

damn man. Portis bothers me at a 4 pick. Injuries set in a little last season and what happens in preseason? Another injury, right?
May as well take a chance on Curtis Martin! (exaggeration...)
I'd probably start with....
Tiki cuz of the guaranteed all - around points he'll rack up. For some reason this guy REMAINS underrated but has already proven his skills.

I'd stay away from Portis now. Even if he comes back, how long is going to take him to be a decent fantasy producer? I'd go with either Tiki Barber or Cadilac Williams.

With Portis' health a ?, you need to defer you focus elsewhere. If you insist on an RB instead of a QB, look to Cincinnati.
