If I want to sell something on ebay and have a personal paypal account can people buy my item using paypal only if they have thier own paypal account. I know if you update to a premier or business account then they can use credit or debit cards but if the buyer already has paypal then they should be able to still put money from their paypal account into mine, right? thanks in advance for any answers.

Yes. You can request a paypal payment from anyone regardless of whether or not they have a paypal account. When you send the request, paypal sends them an email with multiple options for paying.

mmmm--I ran into this..

Yes, As long as they have a PayPal account of any kind, you can accept PayPal payment from them. I think you need to upgrade to business if you want to take echeck payments through PayPal, and if they want to pay by credit but not go through PayPal, then they have to call you directly and make those arrangements.

Hope that helps.
