On the one hand, they claim Israel is so strong and has the best weapons so it can avoid civilian casualties if it really wanted to....but on the other hand they claim that Hezbollah won a great and decisive victory over Israel.

So doesn't that mean that Hezbollah now have that same duty to avoid ALL civilian casualties? After all, they are even stronger than Israel now, right?

I think if you pay attention to Arabs and Moslem extremists you'll go nuts. None of what they say has much credibility, while most of it is self-serving bullshit designed to promote themselves.

Israel could have wiped out Hezbollah had they been allowed to use all means at their disposal; Syria was certainly aware that THEY were extremely vulnerable if it had come to it. But of course using all means at their disposal would have meant all-out war with enormous Lebanese civilian (and don't forget, Hezbollah is by definition civilian) casaulties.

So yeah, Hezbollah wants it both ways. They want to pick a fight with Israel then complain that Israel isn't fighting fair then proclaim victory when Israel doesn't go all out. They can get away with saying this because, while just about everyone else can see what kind of double-talking dribble they're putting out, their followers have blinders on and only believe what they want to -- or what they're told to -- believe.

Hezbollah is a terrorist organization. They're not going to avoid civilian casualties. As for winning a great and decisive victory-
LOL! Don't believe the idiotic press releases Iran and Syria like to release. Israel kicked Hezbollah's butt and now they're going to hide behind the U.N. peacekeepers that will be stationed there.

Bit like bleating to the UN for a ceasefire because they are getting whipped, then when it happens, throwing a victory celebration.
