Stress can cause hormones to act irregular and prevent you from getting your period. You must be stressed out about getting pregnant. If you really want to get pregnant, you and your spouse should relax and enjoy it.
On the other hand, some females do get their period or they spot when they're pregnant. You may want to consult a doctor if you've missed your period next month. Not all home pregnancy tests are accurate. You could be pregnant even if the tests stated negative.

The delay could be caused by stressing about it. Did you wait about a week after sexual encounter before testing? Have you tried taking your temperature each morning? When your temp does up slightly you will be ovulating and that would be the best time for sex and again for the next couple of days. While once can work, many is better. Good luck.

Lots of reasons for being late. Stress, change of diet, exercise, etc. Take another test if nothing happens soon. Best wishes on the preg!

When your period comes is determined by when you ovulate. If you're never irregular, it's because you normally ovulate regularly. However, stress, illness and other factors (travel across time zones, for example) can delay ovulation, which in turn delays your period. Perhaps you're allowing yourself to get stressed out over your efforts to conceive?

no longer everybody has a 'general' cycle. some women ovulate later than others, some previously. seems such as you ovulate previous due. Congrats on being pregnant. BTW consistently flow by utilising the courting ultrasound.

Stress or some strenuous physical activity can cause you to be late.

sometimes stress can be a factor. It can also depend on your age too.
