I'm a five foot three curvacueous 23 year old...no I'm not trying to get a date...

I have a problem finding pants that fit, I have a very round hip/butt area but a very small waist in comparison...any ideas on brands that would fit someone built like me? Keep in mind...I'm short too.

Applebottoms are great, or search for brazilian jeans. These are made for women like us who have the "perfect" body ;)

I have the same issue. There is no one brand that caters to this. Its really not as huge a problem as you think:

a) try shopping in the Petites Section of stores. The lengths of pants tend to be a lot better.

b) make sure the pants fit the widest part of you. If it fits the hips and butt and is big in the waist, its a very simple alteration to get them to a tailor and have the waist taken in. The same goes for the length of the pants as well.

It only costs a few bucks extra for a perfect fit.

c) celebrate your curves!!!

I'm 5'8" round hips/butt and like a size 8 wiast. But I have to wear like 11's. I go to Areopostale and Pac Sun. Cause you can get the pants in short too. or try buckles. They have a lot of specialty sizes!

Joe's Jeans in the Honey cut are made for people with waists (amazingly, clothing is not cut for people with waists anymore...) but they do have a 34" inseam, so you may need to have them tailored & taken up. They are worth it though, I love 'em!

LOL...Abercrombie and AE sell clothes for people built like rulers!

I'm exactly the same 34-22-35! I really sympathise (but we should be smug!). Just enjoy it now and wait until middle-age spread kicks in - then trousers will fit a little too well!
