(its like a black blazer/suit jacket)..and the jeans i want to wear w/ it arn't like barn levi blue jeans or anything, theyre from ae...i just hope this look doesn't suck. =] thanks.

If you wear a funky tank under the jacket (colorful and/or lacy) and a pair of nice boots or heels, it could be a very sexy look. Just make sure the jacket is the only formal part of your outfit or it will really clash instead of accentuate...

Sounds very cute! Maybe pull in additional black, with accessories, shoes, etc. I'd suggest something other than flats, for the shoes. Blazers and heels just naturally go together. You'll look great!!! Be well.

Yes, I learned on What Not to Wear that it is okay to break up a suit. Because you can wear it with your ae jeans. I would suggest wearing a bright colored top under it.

personally, i think it's tacky looking... a nice casual jacket, sure... but a blazer is meant to go with dress pants, not with jeans... wearing a blazer with jeans isn't going to make your outfit look any better. It just makes it look like you're trying too hard...

I think you should put it on and see how it looks on you. The blazer/jean look is in style right now, but typically men where it. It also depends on where your going. Finally, what is it your looking for your clothes to say....I'm cool, eclectic, feminine, masculine. But once again it depends on how it looks and how comfortable you feel when you put it on.
