This is such a beautiful song...it means if we were just part of the planet didn't have all these different God's and if being a good person was just that and you did not do it to win a trip to heaven or go to hell if you did something stupid.

John Lennon meant that the majority of all our conflicts and wars are caused by religious differences, money (oil) or who has control of what land. Look at the current conflicts going on right now...research what started them and you will see his song was quite prothetic.

I think he was talking about having no countries...no boundries no eveyone fighting over ethnicities, no hate over religion....no posessions to work for...enjoying life....not having to things you did not want to, not having to fight for something whether you beilieve in it or not, just being and enjoying your time on earth while you are here........nirvana ya know?
