i am currently looking forward to get eyeglasses..i am kind of confused with the frames i saw lately...i want to know whats in fashion this year...is it the thick black frames or rimless...

I PROMISE you - when it comes to eyeglass frames, what's in fashion is irrelevant!! Go with the size and shape that best suit your face and eyes. These are not merely an accessory that you can interchange, with ever-changing fads. You'll want to try on several and have the opthalmic assistant tell you, honestly, which accentuate your features. Be wise. Your vision is very, very important. Don't compromise it by choosing frames, based solely upon popular trends. You'll be disappointed if the "IN" frames dpn't compliment your face, and be apt to stop wearing your glasses. Choose well. Best of luck!

You should get eyeglasses that flatter your face. Wearing what looks good on you is always in style.
Depending on the shape of your face:
Square face: Glasses with a soft oval shape will soften the angles of a square face and a prominent jaw. Rimless glasses are ideal for you.
Long and narrow face: Choose round or square frames with big lenses. By covering a large part of your visage, they'll shorten it visually.
Round face: Pick frames that are as wide or wider than the widest part of your face, with sides that attach at the top of the lenses.
Heart-shaped face: Pick shades with sides that attach in the middle of the lenses. Square lenses are your most flattering option.
Pick colours that are flattering to your skin tone.

It all depends on you honey.
Your face shape, hairstyle etc.
Go to a good opticians and they should advise you on what suits you best.
