True... very true
Its like the combination of law of conservation of energy - "Energy is neither created nor destroyed" and Newton's law of motion - "Every action has equal and opposite reaction".
For anything and everything, there is a cost. someone, somewhere bears it. Sometimes, something may seem to be free, but in the long run, that thing will extract its "cost" from you.
Now, this "cost" may be in one form or the other - in cash or in kind!!
People may argue that love or most other abstract things are free. Think again. Are they?

Some things are free! You only have to pay a sales tax or shipping and handling charges.
However, the terms above don't apply if you like to dig through other people's trash. As the old saying goes, "One man's trash is another's treasure."
You want something free? Take up the old art of dumpster diving. Have at it!

Every action has a reaction. So it is true that nothing is free. If you consider that you can pay for things not only with money but with not materialistic things like time. You also have to consider opportunity cost. Which is what you give up by choosing an alternative.

Since you're asking in a philosophical sense...
Everything, absolutely everthing is 100% Free. It is all simply structured energy from the beggining of everything, that has been reformed into interesting shapes. There was no money spent, no cost incurred, only energy.. and it all, every single bit of it, still exists in the the universe.
It may be changing every moment.. but it's there.. in some form.
So, since none of it is gone.. there is no cost, and therefore, everything is free.
Now, if you choose to exchange your energy for other energy, then that's your choice..

It is not true, Sacrifices were made for us to enjoy the freedom of this land, but the decisions we make will prove that those did not die in vain, love is there and friends are there and it can cause a sacrifice but it never boils down to cost, money and cost are just expressions used to describe the ill humanity that our country faces. Beauty is seen in the eyes of the beholder find your zen and you will see you are free!!!

Yes it's true nothing is free. Even if someone gives it to you someone had to pay for it. If someone would burglarize a store the factory would have to buy the materials
