Indians have forgotten their past glorious history. Having said this only knowledge of glorious past does not earn anything. Even in day to day life people tend to follow or ape the person whom they feel are strong and prosperous. Moreover, it is practice in India that most of the Indians realize that India is great only after going to the west.

It is only a natural tendency of any living being that has the power of observation. Each culture has different practices consistent with the environment in which it develops . If you observe the fauna flora of differentr reagions , you would see that they ar distinctly different from one another and they are much alike in reagions of similar atmospheric conditiona locations on the eath. The practrixces and of one culture is some thing strange and new to the other and the human mind which is after exploratiion and variety , like to ape the habits it finds new . When east apes the west the west would ape the east . But the problem with the east , particularly the indians , is they have a complex as they have bveen under the rule of foreigners for a long time . Most them are sufferuing from an inferiority complex.. They dio not know the value of their own culture . Theyu have been taught that when they are in rome , they must do as the
Romans do. but they faioil to see that when the Romans are elsewhere , they continue to be romans only. In India the westerners come out in shorts and Banians and the Indians are ashamed of going in their well-coverd dhothies while in thewest even in teh hot summer when even ladies their go around with jutties and boudices ! Indians , particularkly the educated ones do not know anything about their culture and have no respect for their own culture. Our mindset is bad .

because west is ultimately following india, we are ashamed to follow ourselves, that is the inherrent trait. we require an interpreter and a model example of successful personality to accept any phenomenon.

native americans were all over america when the spanish/europeans arrived. they were driven west as the plague of invasion overcame them. they didn't willing go west , the remnants of the decimated tribes were herded that way like cattle.
