I plan on taking the guest of honor out that night but am worried that we won't arrive at the surprise party precisely at 7pm. (Too early or too late and the surprise is blown). What excuses can I use to slow things down or speed them up in order to make sure we arrive precisely at 7pm?

I've thought about stopping off at the book store to slow it down and claiming I "sharted" (if you don't know what this means, you don't want to know) to speed things up.

Any other suggestions for slowing it down or speeding it up?

Well my tip is to avoid lines that are majorly long if you are worried about being too slow and not arriving on time. Have someone at the party text your cell or call your cell and claim it is an emergency and you have to go wherever the party is or somewhere nearby if it is a dead giveaway.

First decide how a lot of human beings you're having, then ring some diverse caterers and get the final deal on food (which is composed of all plates, cutlery etc), or maybe get some family members to make & deliver one factor each and each. Get the alcohol from a save (discounted by utilising the case) and use plastic champagne formed glasses from the food market. additionally relies upon in case you have a sunlight hours or night social gathering, it extremely is going to in all threat be greater value-effective at night as a results of fact in case you have it in the process the day human beings won't bypass away and could drink & eat greater. decide what coloration you desire each and everything, and bypass to a low priced good purchase save and p.c.. up decorations...you may get various those exceedingly fairy lights fixtures that are formed like hearts or vegetation and place them everywhere around the outdoor, and rather some floating candles for the pool. hire some plastic seats and plastic tables. positioned some low priced yet effective paper tablecloths to conceal the tables, additionally some chunky ribbon to tie around the decrease back of each and every chair (or in elementary terms a strip of cheap fabric in a effective coloration with a great bow on the decrease back of each and every chair). additionally e book some cleaners for the following day to bathe grandma's domicile. additionally look on line for some invites, and cause them to your self. positioned a great candle on the centre of each and every table from the $2 save. hire a jukebox for the night, if it extremely is greater value-effective than a DJ.

umm, well first off I'm not sure what sharting is, but I don't think I want to know. My first thought tells me that's disgusting.

As far as the timing, I would suggest trying to maintain contact via cell-phone or Dick Tracy-style watch-phone with the party-goers to let them know that all is or should be underway.

if you need to speed things up just eat fast and when you are done just say we need to be back to (whereever the party is) if visa versa, just eat slow. hope it helps!!!

Can you stop for drinks beforehand? That way you can drag out your drink until it's time to go.
