i travel around the world and i refuse to wear underwear under my kilt as its not only un hygenic but not reflective of a true scotman..
do woman thinks its sexy,rude or are you not bothered,,my experience is woman enjoy lifting up my kilt to satisfy their curiosity,,???

I LOVE the kilt. It should be worn with nothing underneath.
How do you wear it? My favourite way's with hiking boots and a rugby shirt.

It was a stipulation of the British Army that kilted soldiers wore no undergarments.
British Army.
This has NOTHING to do with our earlier traditions.
The kilt is part of a British uniform and was introduced in the 1700's to entice Highlanders into the army to go and subjugate other nations, which many did.
Don't buy into this jingoistic rubbish.

You can wear what you want under your kilt as long as you keep it under your kilt. Women who lift your kilt are rude, are you allowed to peek at their personal bits? I hung around with guys who wore kilts a lot when I was in high school and I never lifted anyone's up to see what they wore underneath.

I was at a wedding last week with Scot men in kilts- I never realised I found a Scottish accent and a kilt such a turn on!
