I live in Louisville, Kentucky and I love it here. The sites are great and there are ton sof things to do, and more getting built everyday. Derby Week is a blast and 4th Street Live is getting bigger and better. Hopefully soon they will get everything lined out about the huge basketball area and attract a NBA team to represent the state. The weather is great, the summer isn't to harsh and the winter aren't either. We have had big snow in the past, but most of the USA was covered in snow then. There is not a whole lot of crime in Louisville, not like other state. Mammoth Cave National Park is great and so is Kentucky Horsepark.
**Kentucky is not full of inbreeds or redneck hick, most of the state is just good ole country folks, who are friendly to anyone. Not everyone in the state has a southern drawl, go farther South and it get worse**

I have been there plenty of times. I think the place is beautiful in general. And the people are so nice and well mannered! I used to attend basketball camp there, well at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. And have stayed there for two straight months.
Besides Lexington, I have been to Louisville, Versailles, Bowling Green, Eastern Kentucky..It was really great and I can't stress enough on how nice people really are there! I wish people were like that all over the States! The State is so clean and green. The cold, winter, Christmas mornings are picture perfect!
The schools, colleges, universities, and technical training schools are in high ranks, meaning they are extremely good schools that provide quality education, don't let the country accents fool ya! There are no dummies in that State!
You will enjoy it, I did and I am originally from New York City!

I live fairly close to Kentucky, about 45 minutes from Paducah. Kentucky isn't bad, it's fairly clean and the people seem nice enough, and bonus...almost every restaurant serves sweet tea! The only thing I can't get over is the accent y'all!!

there is not any longer something Christian approximately it; that's a shame to Christianity. Contradicts the middle coaching of Christian Charity. that is basically meology, the place Christianity is used to mask prejudice and hatred. that is not any longer the 1st time. in the previous, a similar Church used Christianity to sell slavery and lynchings. remember Rev. Richard Furman of South Carolina who argued for slavery in the Bible Belt as ordained by way of God.. all in the call of God. yet whose God? basically what's the version between this view and the Talibans? unusual yet exciting bedfellows. the only reason we condemn the Talibans is they are focused on us, yet we do a similar element commonly used and seem on the different area and project a faux, hypocritical image of a Christian u . s . a . - shame on anyone!
