The Glenview Train Station, take the Metra Milwaukee District North Line from Grayslake to Glenview and then you can get the Amtrak there. Do not go to Chicago Union Station, I have seem Amtrak trains stop multiple times at the Glenview station which is much closer.

The other answers are too literal...what you want perhaps is train access to Grayslake CONNECTING to Amtrak.

Consider taking the Metra Commuter train from Grayslake to the nearest Amtrak station, downtown Chicago Union Station.

Take the North Central Service to/from Grayslake to CHicago Union Station, walk across the lobby and buy an Amtrak ticket almost anywhere. Only drawback is handling your own luggage.
