Some perhaps, do not care about points. Their goal is to spread their well-developed, seasoned, and near-infallible logic to all the poor babes who need it. They have deemed us worthy to share but a piece of their intellect with us, that we may grow wiser and more appreciative of their wisdom.

As for the other 99%, it sort of like a helpful game. Imagine, doing something productive and fighting for bragging rights. Sounds like a deal to me.

Why not? It's about the only challenge there is here, when any intelligent question is immediately answered by a dozen Wikipedia links. That's if you can pick out the intelligent questions from all the spam.

I like answering questions and giving my opinions. And I want to have more points than my friend Jamie because this is a fairly lazy way to be competetive.

i don't anymore. i enjoy giving of the wide range of info i've acquired in my life, my goal was to reach level five so i have unlimited access, there's nothing more frustrating than taking the time and effort to answer a question and having yahoo tell you opps you've reached your limit.
