It's normal to skip periods or to have less than normal periods from time to time, if you are trying for a baby ideally you should be using something similar to fertility awareness method – I'd highly recommend it because this way not only will you achieve pregnancy you will know exactly why your period has gone missing – check out the following web site: http://www.tcoyf.com
Best option is just to use methods to regulate your hormones again – most commonly evening primrose oil is used, easy to get a hold of at your local health store, pharmacy or supermarket, black cohosh is another very good herbal treatment for hormone irregularity and general menstrual and fertility problems. You might also want to consider inducing your period if you have any menstrual related problems such as cramps or bloating.
I would strongly disagree with most comments on doctor being the first port of call, doctors are not well educated on a lot of female reproductive and sexual health, and even some gynaecologists are shockingly ignorant. First and foremost you are responsible for your health, doctors are there as back-up and to handle the medical side in terms of tests and medical treatment, at this early stage neither are needed.

You can get a false negative from a home test, they are not 100%, and many times the tests themselves are faulty. I suggest going to the OBGYN and having a urine/blood test done asap. They can also give you an early ultra-sound. This way you can know for sure, and if you are pregnant, you can start your pre-natal care.
Good luck.

Go to the doctor as she may be able to advise you on your condition. A friend who i was very close to had this problem and the doctor gave her some pills to help. It isnt that your deformed you may have a slight "blockage" up in the womb. this doesnt however effect your abilty to have a child after treatment.
