No matter what there can be no winners in this situation but I would choose Lebanon because Israel is in the wrong and this is just another way that the US will try to get into war with Iran and Syria. I'm so tired of our terrorist president (Bush) that I'm actually wanting to see some middle eastern countries kick some a$$.

If you read some history of what has been going on you will soon realise that the war has been going on since 1948. Battles are being fought all the time. you win some you lose some. The point is that the main issue has not been resolved so far. So there are no winners and losers so far just successful battles. When somebody occupies your territory you never stop fighting until you either kick the intruder out or you die. This being the case I would like to see the Palestinians win but this is wishful thinking. The issue is by far more complicated. Read the history.

The war is not against Lebanon, but its against the terror movement Hezbolla. a movement that has been killing jews since forever.
And by the way- the land of Israel was voted by the United nations and was given to Israel in 1948. so nobody "occupied" nothing. The jews got the land after the holocust in a voting by the world leaders. Israel just want to have their small piece if land and live quitly. the only reason Hezbolla was attacked was beacuse they came into Israel killed 8 soldiars and kidnapped 2. so whos trying to fight??? VIVA ISRAEL

It isn't a war between Lebanon and Israel. It is between Hezbollah and Israel. Many muslim lebanese support Hezbollah, although many others do not. Lebanon has a large Christian population who mostly do not support Hezbollah.
But to answer your question.. Israel. Hezbollah is an enemy of democracy.

There are never "Winners" in a war, just degrees of losing. But Honestly I am afraid (I have lebanese friends) that Lebanon is going to lose more, because "two big countries" that doesn't even deserve to be mentioned, support Israel.

In a war, sure one side can win and the other side can loose. But that is from a political perspective since politicians usually do NOT do the fighting, they only start and end it.

Wars, no matter who wins, will always have those that wish thatey never started. Think of all the casketsm, dead people, sick people, homeless people, the childern.

It is like the 21ST Century, shouldn't we all live in peace.
