It's a hoax - but that won't stop people from believing it. In Mediaeval times, someone started a libel saying that Jews kidnapped children and used their blood to bake matzos. Hundreds, if not thousands, of Jews were murdered on account of this. And despite the fact that Judaism strictly forbids

1) murder
2) eating the flesh of anything but a split-hoofed, cud-chewing animal

and, perhaps more importantly

3) the consumption of blood, any blood

I think it is guilt and economic power that are used simultaneously. They are the best at crying indeed and also at manupulation. People of the world must marvel at their trickrey.
