"I am not gay but I would sleep with you, and I have never thought about being gay but if I were I would date you, are they complimenting you or insluting you?

It would most likely be given as a compliment. They are saying that you are very attractive. The thing is, it is a compliment that only the most socially inept person would use. Far better to say that you are extraordinarily attractive or better yet don't comment on someone in such a personal way unless you feel they are needing some emotional support and even then try to do it some other way. This is of course if you think the person receiving the remark is straight. If they are gay and you are straight I guess it is a little more acceptable compliment but gee..still not cool.

It is a compliment. If they were not gay and one look at you turns them gay then you must be doing something right. By the way this happens to me all the time.

It would depend on whether or not you took them up on this offer.I'm sure it was meant to be a compliment, but they also may be doing some kind of weird sexual test.Beware of people saying things like that ,they seem about 4 fries short of a Happy Meal.

They're giving you one hell of a lot of unsolicited information.

Honestly, I don't think it's meant as a compliment OR an insult, because it's really just about them.

I would tell them in turn that although you're not a cannibal, if you were, you would find them enchanting.

Don't know if you misspelled it deliberately but insluting sounds quite apt. Thankfully headbangers instinctively know they are not allowed in my company.

I think it is a compliment, but when they say they aren't gay they are lying.
