Any ideas?? The bride is a good friend of mine who is an older lady, and I'm in my 20's. I, of course, want to look nice but don't want to upstage her.

Something elegant but no overdone. Of course the bride will be in a nice pretty dress. So keep it simple with light jewelry and a gorgeous purse. You can always dress-up for some other occassion.

First stay with a color palette that suits your coloring. If you're not into pastels then go with something that suits you but in a more subdued tone. Nothing sleeveless, off the shoulder or too short. A small hat will give you a stylish flair without seeming too overdone. Hats are the rage at weddings here in Endland.
I would carry a small clutch that matches your shoes. Don't wear anything to high if you'll be dancing-nothing worse than seeing someone in a pretty dress with no shoes. If you can get away without stockings go for it. Have fun and condratulations to the bride and groom!!!

A simple dress with elegant lines that is knee length or three-quarter length would be appropriate. I would err on the side of conservative since it is her day and you don't want to upstage her. Hope that helped!

Wear a light pink, blue or a white spagetti strap dress that goes up to your knees with a sweater over it.

A nice pastel colored summer dress would be nice. Maybe with some delicate flower design if you like to be feminine! Most of all remember it is her day not yours so don't over do yourself if you know what I mean. You're not there to catch a date you're their to share in her joy!

i think you should were one of those easter colors like: light blue, baby pink, or a yellow. sinse it wont be very cold maybe a dress thats just past the knees with a matching long-sleeve shrug to top it off!!

I love long skirts. My bf desires the short ones. So my closet is loaded w/ 1/2 and 1/2.
