Who else likes to see elderly people holding hands and being together for ages, 50 years in some cases? I love to see it. But have to turn away when they kiss with tongues. *lol* What do you think??

I do. It shows how true love still exists and that people can last together for a lifetime. Those people who are afraid to get married
because they'll be married to one person for the rest of their life, they should take a look at the older ones.

Yes it is sweet. I work for an elderly couple in their own home (they are determined to stay independent -good luck to them) and they have been married for 68 years yesterday! She's 90 and he's 96! They are incredible and they sit there holding hands. It's great to hear their war stories too. I've only been married for 10 and that's a struggle! These days people turn their back on each other too easily.

Kiss with tongues? I am not elderly, but am getting there and I find that disgusting for the elderly. If my husband tries that when we get old, I will knee him where it hurts. Holding hands is great, because everything comes full circle. So to summarize, old - no sex, no frenching or other nonsense...holding hands only.

I once seen my gran and grandad walking down the street holding hands, they didn't know I was there but it was the sweetest things ever! They had banter and argued like cat and dog at home and it was lovely to see them in love like that, they were together 49 years when he died.

It is nice to see but not all old people are still in love as they appear to be..divorse wasn't the done thing all them years ago.
I would like to think my marriage could last the test of time though xx

That is sweet. In a world where, what is it, 50% of marriages end in divorce, it's reassuring to see that love can conquer all. But you are right. Elderly PDA? Ewwww....but still sweet.

You are still You at whatever age. As you get older you realize that the thing everyone wants in the end is love and companionship. Our bodies are a temporary thing, as you age you realize this more and more. It's the spirit that matters.

I think its great,I hope that one day I meet the right man for me and that when I'm 70 we can be sat on the sea front with our bag of chips and false teeth and still be really into one another. My parents are like that now, dads 72 and mums 61 and they still really dig it each other. Its slightly nauseating at times, there really is only so many times you can hear your dad say"oh honey you make my hormones whistle" to your mum before you want to regurgitate your breakfast trust me.
