I have wondered about this ever since I can remember. I believe in the Bible and what it says, but there is also concrete evidence of dinosaurs. So where do they fit into the grand scheme of the history of the world?

One of God's days is not measured the same as ours. It has been said that one of His days is equivalent to a thousand of our years. I don't know if this is true or not, but I do believe it is not measured by the same measure as ours. We do know that God does not use magic to perform His miracles. Everything God does, is done by natural means, including creating the earth and all that is in it. The earth went through many natural changes in it's creation before Adam and Eve were created. Many of the changes that make non believers believe what they believe. It is during all this change and Making of the earth to be suitable for His children that these giant lizards roamed the earth. Why would God have these giants on earth at all? God, knowing all thing from the beginning to the end, new what we would need even now. He, in the creation, needed to provide everything necessary in the earth for us, during it's creation. How could we have petroleum today had not the dinosaurs lived back then. God knows the purpose for everything under heaven. It is for us to live by faith.

The bible states God Created several animals and beasts before man kind, so where is the problem of dinosaurs not fitting in the Bible?

Well what i believe, and what makes more sense to me is that when the bible said "days" they meant periods of time. This is because they had no concept of what billions of years ago. Also keep in mind that God didnt make the Sun until the 5th "day", so it has to mean period of time. Dinosaurs, to answer your question, were made when all the animals were made, which, were made 1 period of time before humans were put on the earth. How long that period of time is not certain but i think it has to be longer then a day.

i believe that dinasours were alive right up to the great flood, i think that the flood is what killed them, i mean, you can't ignore the bones that they've found, that's real.

the reason for dinasours and the theory of evolution is so that people have a choice as to what to believe: 1.God created us and earth, or 2.life is coincidence from an explosion and the whole big bang theory. the big problem is that the devil uses these dinasours and the big bang theory to lead people away from God because science doesn't include God at all (even though he created science as well). it's up to us to choose God.

and like i said, in order to have free will, there has to be a choice. that's why i think that dinasours where alive at one point, as well as animals that my have been similar to us, certain monkeys, so that we have two sort of "credible stories" and we have to choose what we believe.

the thing is that i believe that God made it like this on purpose, so that it takes faith to believe that He created us and the earth. He wants us to believe in Him through faith, not because of "hard core evidence", like the more "factual version" (according to science), the big band theory, that we came from monkeys. it's harder to believe that God made us and the earth, and it goes along with what the bible says about the road that leads to God is the narrow one, the harder one.

i might have gone a bit off topic, but i hope this helps : )

This is my theory. Sciencitist have proved that there are animals today that are very similar to some of the dinosaurs. The Gator, Lizard, some birds, etc. Now the bible says adam and eve was in the garden but it doesn't say how long does it? Now in the garden there was perfectness. No death nothing evil. So if you take lets say the lizard that can't die and it lives for a couple hundred years what will it look like? And when they was kicked out of the garden there became death. Just a theory.

According to new age intelligent design theorists, dinosaurs have co-existed with man for thousands of years. I don't that for a second because there is a gap of about a hundred million years between the death of the dinosaurs and the creation of man.

this was gods second try....

the first try was a disaster because a t-rex ate jesus, so god killed the dinosaurs and put each one in a stone....

and then 60 million years later he decided to make a man and a woman (adam and lilith) but because lilith wanted to be on top, god kicked her out of the garden and made adam a second wife (eve)

(all this of course is strictly hear/say due to the fact that the bible is a bunch of hoo hoo and was written by some guy named ted!)

Some scientists find it hard to believe that God created everything. He even created dinosaurs. I do not believe they are millions or billions of years old. They were created when God created the heavens and earth and other creatures.

The Bible also states that a day to God is like 1000 years to us. Try looking it up.
